Abstract

Dr. Muhammad Iqbal is among those reformers and thinkers of contemporary era who revealed the concept of sovereignty for the Muslim Ummah i.e. owner of supreme sovereignty is Almighty Allah, and afterwards as per Quranic commandment the Holy Prophet is the vicegerance in this universe. So that every ruler and emperor who will remain in the obedience of Allah and the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) will be vicegerance of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). This concept of sovereignty is Likewise, as Iqbal said that the basis of all the rules and principals Quran and Sunnah. This very thing has been mentioned by Dr Sir Allama MUHAMMAD IQBAL and Justice Javed Iqbal in Javaid Nama.
