Abstract
In human society changes are inevitable. Due to diversity in conditions and contrast between places preferences and necessity change with time. That’s the reason orders also change with the circumstances. For instance, the marriage between Hazrat Adam (A۔S)’s children were allowed timely and when there was no need of this custom it was prohibited. A survey of abrogative orders gives a glimpse of changing environment and mental approach of nation, how within the period of time one order was suitable for the whole nation and then became unsuitable. That’s why next generation called the old order abrogative one. In the period of Holy Prophet (peace be Upon Him) changes in orders also came due to changes in environment. The companions of Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him) and jurists follow the footprints of their Prophet (peace be upon Him). The Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon Him) is abrogative the law of previous Ummah. Because till that period mental capability of human beings were at the peak of favorable growth and Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him) explained the teachings of last holy Book. Within the Qur’an and Sunnah, the changing of orders are also explained as compulsory factor of human society with the existing conditions and that is a clear proof there is no any stagnation of law in legal problems
