Abstract

Abiding the social values is known as discipline. Each and every culture has some social principles that are obligatory only because of being a member of that particular society. In Islam the discipline is not only to order people for abiding the disciplinary laws but it is completely belonging to the management, they should follow such laws practically and then the public will follow them by considering the laws as their social responsibility. The disciplined universe teaches us practicing disciple in our life. In any society, the discipline is only possible if individual and collective efforts alike are practiced. So the government will struggle for legislation while the public will be practicing discipline considering it as their social responsibility.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) brought up all the members of Muslim society in such a way that their every deed fruits their religion and world life, at the same time that deed remains beneficial for public. That well disciplined society of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was completely based on moralities. The reforming of society was based on purification of soul and human respect; that is guaranteed to develop the passion of sacrifice and self responsibility among men and women.

For a model society, it is only necessary that the rights and obligations of public are formulated but also some other than government institutes should participate in implementation. The title of this article is “The Means of Discipline among Public in Islamic State-in the light of teachings of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)”, that is an important topic from the perspective of conditions in Pakistan. The article has been divided into three parts as Introduction to discipline and its kinds, the individual and Collective efforts for the disciplined society. May Almighty Allah make this effort beneficial for people and it may help for becoming well disciplined society in Islamic Democratic Pakistan.
