Solution of Sectarian Problems of Muslim Ummah (in the light of Seerah of Muhammad ﷺ)
Abstract
Before the advent of Islam humanity was divided into different classes socially and politically. A man worshiped more than one god. Neither was jurisprudence and ordinance nor a bureaucratic unity there and no social and ethical consciousness was found in the world. Islam, at its arrival, ceased all such evils and joined its adherents in a unity. So the believers of Islam, living in the world having different languages, coloures, casts and social customs, constitute a single entity that is called Ummah. This is a decided fact that Islam, as an equanimous religion, encourages justice, moderation and isopolity in every code of life. Extremism and radicalism, at any state, is dangerous and deadlier not only in Islam but in other religions as well. This is the reason which beteems sectarianism and, on the base of such sectarian enviornment, a nation becomes victim of factionalism. Today the Muslim Ummah is under the shadow of disappointment and hopelessness which main reason is, no doubt, our sectarian problems. The most dangerous schism in the Muslim Ummah is that which is in the name of Islam.
